Retention Specialist (PT)

The Retention Specialist serves as a liaison between NCTI graduates and their employers to ensure a positive employment experience.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Establishes positive relationships with employers by maintaining regular communication by phone or in person
  • Meets with NCTI graduates and/or program participants to assess progress and potential challenges
  • Assists employer with troubleshooting work-related challenges with NCTI graduates
  • Completes all required reports and documentation
  • Reports to NCCTI ‘s Chief Administrative Officer/School Director

Experience and Skills:

  • High School Diploma required, Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in job development and/or follow up services
  • Ability to work independently
  • Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Valid NJ Driver’s license
