Job Description:

Under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer, is responsible for the overall leadership, direction and coordination of agency programs and activities, within the policies as formulated in accordance with the resources and Mission of the Agency.

Summary
Lead and oversee the day-to-day clinical operations along with management team, providing clinical supervision including intake assessment, service planning, clinical interventions, file audits, discharge planning, and reinforcing sound clinical program procedures and practices. 

Responsibilities

  • Ensure acceptable standards of professional practice in the Agency, as prescribed by the Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services, and the Codes of Ethics of his/her licensing Boards.
  • Establish and implement a formal quality assurance program.
  • Work with clinical management team as to quality assurance and fiscal management to meet clinical supervision goals.
  • Make appropriate adjustments and modifications to program clinical services to meet community needs; addressing any issues related to clinical practice.
  • Provide direct individual and group clinical supervision to a team of social workers, case manager, and interns; Providing direct services, as needed
  • Prepare agency budget, implement, and administer agency programs within its budget provisions. 
  • Manage existing grant funding and write/apply to grants as needed.
  • Train new staff on the use of the electronic health record as it relates to standardized clinical workflows and billing.

Experience and Skills:

Qualifications;

-Master Degree in Social Work or Counseling.

Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC); Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW); Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).  

10 years of professional-related experience in the field.  Five years of experience providing clinical supervision to staff is required.

-Knowledge of grant writing, reporting, and experience in managing programs are a must.

Skills

  • Must have strong skills in both clinical and administrative leadership and management.
  • Knowledge of clinical requirements of both state licensing and regulation.
  • Program development or startup experience preferred
  • Experience working with justice-involved individuals with behavioral health needs
  • Previous use of an electronic health record, preferably Icanotes
  • Fluency in Spanish preferred

 

Additional Information

Must present a valid Class I Fingerprint Clearance Card prior to start of employment.

Must pass any substance abuse screening upon employment, and submit to random testing during the course of employment.

Must obtain a CPR Card within ninety (90) calendar days of employment and maintain a valid CPR card during employment. Must have a First Aid card and then maintain updates per agency policy.
