In this role, Allied Health Instructor will teach and mentor Medical Assistant students; providing training, knowledge, and skills in the clinical and administrative areas. This includes but is not limited to the following subjects within our Pre-designed Medical Assistant curriculum such as basic medical procedures for both the front and back office in clinics, hospitals and doctor’s offices, including administrative medical assisting duties. In addition to the introduction to anatomy & physiology, office environmental safety, infection control and laboratory, psychology and special senses, medical management, clinical medical assisting duties, pharmacology and office emergencies. Together with facts about medical assistant careers, Microsoft Office application, and medical software. Provide guidance and academic support to students to facilitate course completion. Evaluate and resolve student inquiries, issues, problems, and ensure appropriate action is taken to resolve issues Conducts, evaluates and deliver course information that will meet standardized requirements for Medical Assistants based on industry standards.
- Curriculum development including course descriptions, objectives, and content. Prepares course work for all assigned classes and teaches assigned courses in accordance with established NCC approved curriculum and course outlines.

Planning the organization of the classrooms and labs. Assigning student activities in the classroom and/or clinical settings.

Selection of appropriate instructional strategies and procedures participating in the selection and preparation of instructional materials.

Selection of appropriate materials, textbooks, equipment, and software Reviews assessment data and adjusts curriculum and instructional methodologies to improve student learning.

Devises written lesson plans and implements them through lecture and demonstration.

Maintain equipment in instructional areas

Evaluation of student progress as related to learning objectives Maintains records of student progress and performance, attendance and grades.

Prepares, administers, and grades, written and practical examinations during course of study

Maintenance of appropriate student records

Orient, counsel, and advise students as needed
